I am delighted to introduce myself as the Head of School of MDTC, based at the Mablethorpe campus.
I am proud of our College campus in Mablethorpe; it is the heart of the community. Our students are a credit to us: the achievements of our students at GCSE and A Level are a reflection of the hard work and commitment shown by them, our dedicated staff and the support of parents. Our past students have left us with the qualifications to join their course of choice at University, or to find a place in the world of work. We offer our present and future students the same opportunity: the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
With the wide-ranging curriculum that we offer at MDTC, our students are offered choices in their education that are unrivalled in the area. We additionally offer strong pastoral support and great extra-curricular activities; optimising our students’ chances of success by giving them the qualifications and skill-set to take them through into adulthood.
We have great sports provision at MDTC; I feel strongly that sport is a key priority for student development and wellbeing. Our teams are strengthened with the participation of students from both campuses; this offers Mablethorpe students the opportunity of new friendships and the sports facilities available on our Louth campus. The college is proud of its sporting successes in individual and team sports.
It is an exciting time for both the students and staff at MDTC; I would invite you to come and visit our site, and discuss the opportunities that we are able to offer your child.
