MDTC celebrates GCSE Success


Students at Monks’ Dyke Tennyson College had cause for celebration upon receiving their GCSE results on Thursday 20th August 2015.

Noteable achievers were:
Rachel Rolph (9A*,4A ), Alice Rolph ( 6A*,6A and a Distinction*), Sophie Kelly (5A*, 6A, 1B); who were the college’s highest achieving students this year. Also: Charlotte Bray (12 A*-C), Charlotte Davies (11A*-C),Emily Hamilton, Charlotte Bell, Robert Beer, Leigh Fox, Beth Cross, Evie-Mae Lucas, Jake Havercroft, Nicholas Mountain all achieved 10A*-C grades!

Success was achieved across both Louth and Mablethorpe campuses and the College are pleased to report improvements in our History, Geography, French and German results due to the changes made to the curriculum for this year. A newly implemented curriculum will also come into play this academic year; which should see a further raise in results in the future.

Mike Eyre, College Principal, said, “We are really proud of the successes our students have achieved this year: there have been some outstanding results!”. Rachel Tickhill, Chair of Governors added: “It has been another good year of results, as always we are exceptionally proud of our students, and would like to thank our dedicated team of staff for supporting them to achieve success.”
